Big news for students in Punjab. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced that the distribution of 100,000 electric bikes under the CM Punjab E-Bike Scheme 2026 will begin on 5 November 2026 . The announcement was made on 16 October 2026 during a ceremony at the University of Sahiwal, where she also handed out laptops and Honhaar merit scholarships to students. More than 1.2 million students registered for the scheme and over 600,000 applications were received.
